The msmobiles.com is a privately hold publication and is independent from Microsoft.
The msmobiles.com website went online in September 2002 - just one month before the first Microsoft smartphone in the history was released commercially! The msmobiles.com was available also under a bit longer domain name: MicrosoftMobiles.com, but on request from Microsoft corporation, we have gave up this name for the sake of the shorter one: "msmobiles.com".
The purpose of existence of this website is to provide users of Microsoft powered cell phones (Microsoft Smartphone and Pocket PC phone) with a useful information, that could help them using their devices or that could show them new ways how they could utilize them. We also would like to convince users of non-Microsoft cell phones to switch to cell phones powered by Microsoft software!
Not only we are creating content for this website but we are also going to conferences and trade shows, to gather yet more information on related topics. We are every year present in CeBIT trade show in Germany. We are going also to other conferences or trade shows like 3GSM World Congress (France, Spain), MDC (various places), ITU (Switzerland), etc. where we try to get direct information from Microsoft (click here to see example of an interview) and from software and hardware vendors. We are also open to cooperation with software vendors and if you are a software vendor for Windows Mobile cell phones, then we can even visit you in your office to talk to you - if you wish (click here for an example of such visit)!
