Review: IA File Manager Pack for Smartphone
Despite strong competition from freeware file managers, you can find this utility a useful addition to your smartphone.

Please note: this is just initial version of this review - we had opportunity to use this program for the very short time. We will add some more screens and remarks after 1-2 weeks of using it. But for now you can see our first impressions...

IA File Manager Pack for Smartphone contains 3 modules:

The main module is a file manager:

... that can be used in a Tree View mode (hierarchical) or in List View mode (flat). You can perform typical file manager -like operations on files and folders:

Interesting feature of the file manager from IA are quite extensive selection possibilities:

Another module of the pack is Space Maker that allows you to make some more free memory in your phone:

While you use the phone then, with time, the size of various files can decrease performance and possibilities of your phone. You can remove some files and make thus more place for other purposes (or to improve performance):

Another module of the pack is Task Manager:

... that allows you to kill some applications no longer needed:

The IA File Manager Pack for Smartphone will be avaiable soon at IA Style for US$14.95.

The application lacks "Quit" position in the menu, because it is not compliant to Microsoft published Smartphone Application Design Guide to have such a position, but possibility to close applications with the attached task manager makes it up.

Mr. Lotus Chen from IA Style company, when asked how this commercial program can compete with freeware applications that offer similar functionality, answered:
Software development, distribution and support all require funding. I would name a few reasons for buying commercialware over Freeware:
- CommercialWare doesn´t necessary expensive (File Manager Pack has three modules)
- More functionalities and user interface (due to extensive efforts)
- Better product reliability
- More chance to get Microsoft logo certified products
- Download comprehensive user manual (like in IA Album for Smartphone case)
- Multiple languages support (Will Freeware do eight language versions like this: http://www.iastyle.com/iapcvc/index.asp)
- To get proper technical support
- To get Free future upgrade (at least with certain versions)
- Get signed application which can be used in certificates enabled Smartphone
- Fair use

Conclusion: if you need sophisticated and reliable utility for file management, free space making, and task manager functionality, then this program may satisfy your needs.
