connect power supply to the phone
turn the smartphone off
hold down keys "*" and "3"
without releasing above keys press the power button (at the top), the whole sequence looks like this:
observe IPSM deleting messages and progress bars ("IPSM flash erasing" and "IPSM Initializing":

after completion the phone will reboot again
