Showcase presentation of Bill Gates - part 1 of 2

Transcript of this presentation will be available later at Microsoft´s web site, but here you can take a look at several pictures that we have taken.

This presentation of Bill Gates took place on October 13, 2004, on 10:00 AM, in this "Arena" building at "Palexpo" in Geneva, Switzerland:

As you can see here:

... many journalists and visitors were waiting for Bill Gates to arrive. This picture was taken around 9:25 but later on much more people arrived.

The topic of the presentation was "Telecommunications & Software: Better Together":

Bill Gates was presenting information on 3 screens, one big behind him:

... and two smaller to the left and to the right of the main screen. The two smaller screens were just repeating a part of the main screen so that more people could see it and in better lighting conditions.

At the beginning Bill was speaking about about various visions of Microsoft in "the new digital world":

During the presentation, at the beginning, Microsoft smartphone was not visible in the foreground, but just as part of some other topics:

... on picture above in the upper left corner you can see Microsoft smartphone. Here is some another slide with Microsoft smartphone:
