Biography of Andrew Orlowski: he is a citizen of UK, who lived in San Francisco, USA, but now again lives in UK, London. Ancestors of Andrew Orlowski were Polish citizens, who stayed in UK after World War 2, because Poland was then occupied by Soviet Union and some Poles didnīt want to live under Soviet Occupation and stayed "in the west". Poles were one of the most effective fighters in "Battle of Britain" (second after Englishmen) and some of ancestors of Andrew Orlowski were fighting in it too. He is working now as an editor for "The Register" - a UK based publication dedicated to: As a proof that The Register in no way is an objective publication, is a fact that it was nominated by Nokia for "Evangelist Award" - for evangelizing of Symbian Series 60 platform.

Andrew Orlowski specializes - within the frame of "The Register" - in reporting about Microsoftīs efforts in cell phone industry, or rather in ridiculing and critizing of these efforts. msmobiles.com asked him in April 2003 about what he thinks about "Microsoft entering cell phone industry"?
