About I/O problems on SD card after suspend

The Samsung i600 goes into suspend mode when you close the clamshell. This is a Samsung design issue and was a tradeoff for battery life. As Niel says, ultimately you need to contact Samsung for full details. The problem you are encountering is because when the device goes into suspend mode, the SD card is unmounted. You need to basically remount the SD card when this happens. There is no way to keep the SD card mounted in suspend mode.
