Toshiba e800 Wi-Fi Review - Part 2 - Comparison with other devices

Compared to Microsoft Smartphone (here: HTC Voyager branded as Orange SPV E200) the Toshiba e800 looks big:

... but since it has much better specifications than Smartphone, including big display of 480x640 pixels (compared to 176x220 in Smartphone), then no wonder it is bigger!

Toshiba e800 is also big compared to other Pocket PCs - because it has high resolution VGA display - and the other Pocket PCs have only 240x320 resolution - 4 times smaller! Here is Toshiba e800 and Dell Axim X3i (to the right, also a Pocket PC with built-in Wi-Fi):

Dell Axim X3i has however protruding Wi-Fi antenna, and Toshiba e800 has integrated antenna:

Toshiba e800 is even bigger than XDA Pocket PC phone:

... but if we consider that XDA has a protruding GSM antenna, then in reality Toshiba e800 is smaller than XDA!

Here is a thickness comparison (from down to dop: Dell Axim X3i with high capacity battery, XDA, Toshiba e800):

... where you can observe that Toshiba e800 is roughly as thick as XDA, but thicker than Dell Axim X3i. Interestingly both Dell Axim X3i and Toshiba e800 have a quasi-wheel (roller) on the left side, so you can scroll pages while reading websites or eBooks. XDA and also iPAQs doesnīt have it!

Here you can see 3 PDAs on on the other from the connector side (order as prieviously):

... where you can notice that Toshiba e800 is superior to both XDA and Dell Axim X3i because it has additional (!) power supply socket - so you donīt have to use data transmission socket for power supply connection.
