Changing language in Smartphone 2003 : from Chinese to English

When Smartphone 2003 phone (here dopod 515) runs in Chinese it looks like this:



... so if you donīt know Chinese you may consider changing it to English. Since English is an international language, it means that most Microsoft smartphones have also English language on board.

First you need to press left soft key in the home screen, so you will see the menu. In the menu you must scroll with "9" key until you will see something like this (under number "8" here):



"8" means here settings, but sometimes this icon with "settings" may be under other position (in somebody installed something in the smartphone) - in this case you just need to seek it - to get the same icon or to the same Chinese text. Once you found it select it (press "8" in our case, or just navigate with cursoe and select it with action). After selecting "settins" you get such view:



... and now you need to press "9" (more) to see this:



.. where you must select "5". After selecting "5" you will regional settings that will look like this (or a bit different, depending on previous settings):



In first 2 choice controls you need select things as shown on the following screenshots.

... and after these selections are made, the dialog should look like this:



Then you must press left soft key several times. After this you need to switch off and on your smartphone and after it is again on you will have your smartphone in English:
