Alphamosaic Supplies Multimedia Processor Technology To Samsung Mobile Phones
Joint Collaboration Between Alphamosaic and Industry leader Samsung Delivers Next Generation Phones
Cambridge, UK, January 2004. A collaboration between Alphamosaic, a supplier of leading edge multimedia processor ICs, and Samsung Electronics has produced a new generation of mobile phones. The first in the series is the SCH-V420 model. This CDMA2000 1x EV-DO phone features an integrated MegaPixel camera, high quality camcorder functionality offering up to 2 hours of video recording amongst its many features.
Samsung Electronics and Alphamosaic are working closely together to produce phones which make full use of Alphamosaic’s VideoCore® technology and software solution which delivers the highest quality multimedia without impacting on battery life.
