Running Smartphone 2003 operating system in an old Orange SPV phone

Yes, it is possible! It is possible to run Smartphone 2003 operating system in HTC Canary (Orange SPV) and HTC Tanager (Orange SPV e100, Qtek 7070, etc). Pictures below prove it.

Hardware vendors, network operators and distributors are not publishing Smartphone 2003 ROM only because they want you to buy new phones (new models) and not just upgrade the old ones.

Here you can see the default home screen - typical for Smartphone 2003: you can see "Start" button and you can see date on the home screen:



Smartphone 2002 didnīt have native support for Bluetooth, but Smartphone 2003 has a native support for Bluetooth as you can see here:



However old Orange SPV phone has no built-in Bluetooth therefore the text "No Bluetooth hardware is installed on this device" appears.
