The Truth about Handango´s "People´s Choice" awards
It was very easy to stuff the ballot box on this. Although each Handango account could only vote once it was trivial to create new Handango accounts and vote. They don´t even verify if your email address is correct so that even saves a step (they may have changed this but I doubt it).
When the voting started it was very easy to see who was cheating the vote so many serious people didn´t even bother to pursue the awards.
