Although "Smarpthone" is a general term denoting all cell phones with possibility to run native 3rd party applications and PDA features, the Microsoft however uses this term to denote a device powered by Windows CE software on the lower layer and "Smartphone" or "Windows Mobile for Smartphone" on higher level. Usually it has no touch screen but a regular display of size 176x220 pixels and it has cell phone type keypad.
