You should register another domain name called www.symbiancantdoit.com and have it point here. Laughing

How cool is this software, though?! Cool

By the way, your www.securegsm.com link is broken on the article.

Laughing thanks but I have too many internet domains already.

Anyway: I tested this software only shortly but I plan to test it deeply - in cooperation with mobile operators - to see if it really is encrypting the voice and if there is a drop in voice quality. Remember: it requires both sides to use it to have the encryption.

The broken link: I have corrected it - thank you very much!

For those not in the know how this program works with your carrier...

"SecureGSM™ uses your carrier’s DATA CALL (CSD) line functionality. To use this service you will need to ask your service provider to enable it for you. Your provider will also give you a DATA TERMINATING NUMBER to make and receive DATA CALLS.

Note: The DATA CALL service must be enabled on both ends for SecureGSM™ to function. You should use the DATA TERMINATING NUMBER to initiate a SecureGSM™ call, rather than the primary voice number, for your connection to be properly routed in a mixed network environment.

CSD Line Type settings:
Several CSD Line Type settings will be available to you, depending on the device you are using. To ensure proper operation of SecureGSM™, we recommend that you use v.32. We do not support CSD Line Type Settings other than v.32, however here are some recommendations.

v.32 – This setting is recommended for best compatibility. Up to 20 second line negotiation delay is expected.

v.110 - This type of CSD connection is not guaranteed to work. We have successfully tested this type of connection where both parties are on the same GSM Network. Line negotiation speed is up to 5 seconds.

You will also need to ensure your connection element is set to Non-transparent."
