... and is bad decision for mobile phone vendors. How can small vendor compete with nokia if it has to do it on nokia's terms?

Is this just Siemens (Series60 Licensee) or BenQ (UIQ Licensee) too.

As BenQ are an ODM and have created a version of their P31 (UIQ Phone) for Nokia in the China market I see this as strange decision.

I can understand BenQ dropping Series60 as they have only had limited exposure with one device, but they have produced 2 UIQ phones to date.

I also find comments such as "symbian sucks" rather childish, each OS has it's merits and yes Nokia are taking a large share of the market but as you have previously stated HTC are the Nokia of the Windows Mobile world (and I have my suspicions that Microsoft are bankrolling them in some way so they can compete with Nokia).

Oh and what did they say about being a Shareholder?

No, you can't. Not all press conferences are available on websites of vendors. In fact only few are.
