... and is bad decision for mobile phone vendors. How can small vendor compete with nokia if it has to do it on nokia's terms? |

Is this just Siemens (Series60 Licensee) or BenQ (UIQ Licensee) too.
As BenQ are an ODM and have created a version of their P31 (UIQ Phone) for Nokia in the China market I see this as strange decision.
I can understand BenQ dropping Series60 as they have only had limited exposure with one device, but they have produced 2 UIQ phones to date.
I also find comments such as "symbian sucks" rather childish, each OS has it's merits and yes Nokia are taking a large share of the market but as you have previously stated HTC are the Nokia of the Windows Mobile world (and I have my suspicions that Microsoft are bankrolling them in some way so they can compete with Nokia).
Oh and what did they say about being a Shareholder? |

No, you can't. Not all press conferences are available on websites of vendors. In fact only few are. |
