Now I understand why there are no author's names on the article on msmobiles. The right hand obviously doesn't know what the left is doing. Right next to each other we have "TCMP player released in new version : 0.70 - but it disappoints very much" extoling the virtues of "silent podcasts" and "Windows Mobile ( both Pocket PC and MS Smartphone ) catches up with Apple iPod - playback of enhanced podcasts possible" which says to use the new version of TCMP because "latest version is 0.70 and it works fine"

If you guys would spend more time doing research and less time slandering maybe you would be MVP's

I had TCPMP 0.66 installed to BIS. Keeping it, I created a new DIR in BIS and re-installed TCPMP 0.70 in it, followed by AAC plugin (both CAB via CABINSTALL). It became unstable first. I had renamed short-cu to original V 0.66 as TCPMP-0.66 so V 0.7 was linked as TCPMP only. Then I removed TCPMP using remove programs. Yet my original V 0.66 TCPMP is live and working great, it even played AAC as well as M4B (enhanced podcasts) with pictures and AAC (M4A/P4 Audio) audio. And the ABOUT says it is Version 0.66 only.

why couldn't you unistall 0.66 wholly, then install 0.70 and then AAC plugin for 0.66 and it would work too?!
