O2 UK is probably the first operator that offers such upgrade - previously i-mate (a distributor) was offering it...

You're well over a day late in reporting this. Most of your competitors were carrying this story yesterday morning. Maybe you should spend less time bitching about people and spouting useless, vacuous, illogical and unsubstantiated opinions, and more time actually covering the subject matter to which this site claims to dedicate itself.

Amen! You are absolutely right.

Of course that fact that I am traveling around the world and I am doing some stuff here and there - is a lame excuse and I should concentrate on what you are just saying. Thanx!

You're in a minority there.

Look around, and you'll see that a pretty sizeable number of the comments on the forum berate the appalling bias and staggering ignorance of the authors, as so many people - like myself - despair at just how utterly ridiculous, and often libellous, much of the authors' comments are. I don't see why I should have to start a better, more successful, and more intelligent version of this site in order to be able to criticise msmobiles. If msmobiles doesn't want to hear what people think of their site, then they should remove the forum facility, as it only seems to be crammed full of comments about how poor things are anyway.

I visit this site for the news, and I have acknowledged on more than one occasion that this site is generally good in getting the latest news about Windows Mobile. However, it irritates me - and many, many others - that I have to wade through paragraphs of the most ignorant and unintelligent bullsh!t written by the authors in order to get to the actual news being revealed. This site is now so preoccupied with pumping out hateful and spiteful attacks against Nokia, Symbian, Palm, RIM and certain Windows Mobile staff that it's forgetting to actually report the news, one obvious example being this very news story about the XDA Exec ROM release, which arrived well over a day late.

This site used to be very good for breaking news about Windows Mobile quickly, and relatively accurately. The massive shift away from actual facts to ill-considered and vacuous opinions which largely ignore those facts is what has made this site such a poor joke, and why it fails to command so little respect.
