| Tabs or not tabs is a question of preference. I think the speed performance is by far more important. |

You know, for a web sit claiming to have enough technical expertise to evaluate other developers' software, you really need to learn more about the WM operating system. It's easy to install a .cab file in any location you want. |

Having installed Opera and run it for a day:-
1) Find it very fast
2) Probably the best page rendering compared to the competition
However would have loved if Opera included the following:-
1) Possibility for file attachmenrts in web based e-mail accounts e.g. Gmail
2) User configurable user-agent so that one is not forced to mobile versions of websites. Opera cannot go to the full Hotmail site but rather the Mobile site
3) Possibility of Flash plug-ins

|
|
Seriously, how long is this going to continue?
| Quote: | | in past this company was saying openly that they will never release a version of their browsers for Windows Mobile, but now, after Nokia dumped them |
I don't understand why this site keeps repeating these false claims.
The "never release" quote was fake. Made up by the journalist. Opera never stated that it would never be available for Windows Mobile.
Nokia never dumped Opera. The contract was actually renewed last year, and Opera has appeared on several Nokia devices since msmobiles.com claimed that Nokia had dumped it.
Fact checking? |

I read of a "hack" for the 45 day time limit as follows:
"it is a trial version for 45 days only but when your 45 days is over go to my device-->Application data-->opera then using the stylus press and hold and check view all files you will see a file called viger ! delete it and your will have another 45 days and so on".
Not tried this myself so can't comment on if it works. |
