|
|
Since the brand new XDA Atom is out on the market people are asking if it really can do A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). The Universal can't do it nor can any other HTC device by default. We put the XDA ...

That was a pretty crappy "review" even if you would call it that
You make no mention of the quality between the two paired devices (the clip S and the Atom).. is their any hissing noises? Any drop outs?
A number of people are reporting NUMEROUS problems with the Atom's A2DP... specifically I have been able to confirm problems with the S35/R35 and S38 itech headsets
Maybe you could expand on your "review" and your experience with the headset? Where you using the latest ROM |

I have some questions, u mean only after the latest ROM update tat gives the XDA Atom an A2DP support or did u guys mean tat it already has it from the beginning. Btw, Eten M600 too already has A2DP after the ROM update.
Does it mean all these ROM updates on M600 & XDA Atom already included AKU 2 inside??
Btw these 2 devices now supports A2DP, but does it support the regular mono audio gateway feature too?
Can anyone kind enough to answer? Thanks. |

no, only upgraded M600 and Xda Atom get stereo audio over Bluetooth
and it is not AKU 2 with push email it is only stereo audio over Bluetooth.
Mono gateway is irrelevant because it has low quality voice. Stereo - A2DP - offers high quality streaming (192 kbps as far as I know). |

<flaming and lies removed>
O2 Atom has a big hit in Thailand now, same to o2 XDA magican in last year due to 2 mega pigsel camera, first and only one FM radio tuner included , 400 mz intel chip, Wifi, nice black plastic and surprisingly smallest PDA phone in the world. How come? Also o2 plus plug in today. It work fantastically
It also one of the first A2DP in the market. Sound quality of speaker is one the best in the market, too. Very nice if you listen to MP3
There is a shortage of o2 Atom in Thailand, now. You got to book it if you want. Same situation in last year to o2 XDA Magician which its sales surpassed Sony Ericcson p910 already. |

... i don't know exactly, what your problem is, suwat:
1.) i wrote this article and not the (as you call him) "flamer", if you have any credibility in the pocket pc/smartphone market in the way i have it - let us all know...
2.) i can't see too much negative aspects in there (haven't i said that o2plus is great as well as processor speed and size of the device?).
3.) there's always room for improvements, in any device. if you want to tell me that the xda atom is already perfect you are disqualifying yourself!
looks like you did not read the article, thats why you flame around?
cheers, lutz |

| User "Suwat" has been banned from this forum due to hostile and destructive flaming, that contained a lot of lies. Enough is enough. |

I have a question that people may not be able to answer...?
When (you can speculate) will the XDA Atom launch in UK???
I have heard that it will never be released in UK, but it may be renamed and then Released with the same specs, different name.
Also about the HP branded XDA Atom??? Will that ever get released in UK???
If you are a webmaster/admin of forum, and you know these answers please reply directly to rut04068993@student.wakcoll.ac.uk or if you'd just like to post about the speculation regarding this question then post here please. Thank You.
PS: I know it is my first post and it may seem 'noob' like but i am not a noob... u noobs |

I have just purchased an XDA Atom and the iTech bluetooth headphones as outlined in the article. The sound quality didn't improve when I upgraded to the 20060123B1WWE ROM.
It sounds like a very low bit rate (screechy, choppy) and not all that loud. Certainly doesn't sound like 192k.
Can anyone else confirm they are having the same problem with the same combination?
Or is this some sort of configuration setting or software upgrade I've missed?
Interested to hear other people's experiences |
