| The I shall assume your use of the term "despite" was poor English, rather than an attempt to belittle Europe as the unlikely site of a global event! Does seem unecessarily provocative (and hence my reference to the toons)... |

well the reason why this global event - 3GSM - is in Europe, is because almost all telecommunication related organizations are headquarted in Europe.
Other than that: why should Europe be the site of global event? After all both USA and Asia are more developed... |
