So what? How is this news?
Honestly, this is as tedious as flicking through somebody's holiday photos - though at least with those, there's occasionally an amusing picture of someone being kicked by a donkey or falling off a cliff.
Why on earth do you think that a load of photos of Microsoft personnel and a couple of boring unrevealing shots of exhibition stands would be a) newsworthy, or even b) of any interest to the readership of this site? |

because 3GSM ended last week and not everybody was there to see how it looked like.
report from RECENT EVENT with first-hand photos is newsworthy. |

| I wonder how many people that visit this site give a toss about what the Microsoft camp looked like in their lovely hotel lobby, or random pictures of the industry "celebs" that you spotted. I'd wager a sizeable amount that your readers would much rather have a lot more info about new handsets and services than this dross. Ultimately, I've found that the likes of the brilliant new <removed> and CoolSmartPhone have been covering the really important developments far better than you have. |

thelondonthing: why don't you understand that some people are interested in one thing and others in other thing. Not publishing such information would be bad for some people.
Besides: the proper coverage can be done ONLY if given person is on location. Sites who covered it through links etc, are not the best coverage providers.
So stop whining please! |

I'm afraid you're completely wrong on that point. An eyewitness account of a traumatic event being told on, say, BBC World might be fragmented, disjointed, and be difficult to keep up with. The eyewitness may have seen the whole thing, but the adrenalin rush and the "thrill" of the whole experience may well result in a less than brilliant account of the event being communicated. If the eyewitness told the account to a BBC correspondent who, with their wealth of background knowledge and experience of dealing with such events, was then able to put everything into a sensible and coherent order, the likelihood is that the story of the event would be much easier to understand, with a greater insight into the context of the event as well. The fact that the eyewitness saw exactly what happened right there does not make the eyewitness the best teller of the story.
Regardless of your arrogant opinion of yourself, I have seen far superior coverage of 3GSM, new handsets and announcements on a number of other sites. Here, on msmobiles, where you boast about being there at the event, I have seen massively inferior coverage, fixating on the attractiveness of the models on the stands, your "celebrity" spotting, and a string of photos that look like little more than a roll of film from a high school trip - none of which has anything at all to do with the alleged subject matter of the site.
Proof, if it were needed, that being there to see it all doesn't automatically mean that the coverage is better.
And don't tell me to stop whining, you tiresome oaf. I'll stop whining when you stop pumping out crap "news" stories like this, which fail to inform, educate or entertain anybody but yourself. |

| thelondonthing, I agree that other sites had superior coverage of 3GSM 2006, but you must agree with me that msmobiles.com had some photos and audio recordings that were not published anywhere else! |
