Is there any cracked version already around or will this functionality only be an integral part of Vista ?

Actually I think I will NOT buy myself Vista, as it is said to be extremely memory hungry and I am not going to buy more powerful PCs (Intel Dual Core) and then wasting the performance just for having such a huge OS.
(BTW: Wasn't an OS initially only thought to be a support or enabler for the "real" applications running on a PC ? Seems an OS becomes what is called l'art pour l'art in French...]
Also I am against that DRM said to be included in Vista.

I'm convinced sooner or later the community would transform this ActiveSync client into a separately usable client even if MS decides only to offer it as part of Vista.

it's integral part of Windows Vista and you will not be able to run it in Windows XP - no way! don't count on it!

I wouldn't be so hasty to say that MS won't release the new functionality for Windows XP as well as Vista. Usually Microsoft releases those big pieces of functionality for the new OS and its previous version (i.e. Internet Explorer 7.0).
