no wifi is excusable...
...however no UMTS or EDGE is not.
i find with my Apache that i RARELY ever use the wifi because the EVDO is fast enough that I don't really need the hassle and battery consumption...but it's nice to know it's there.
however, if i had to choose one, it's clearly EVDO over WiFi...
and since this really nice phone doesn't have either (unless i am mistaken) i don't desire it at all. GPS is great but being connected at high speed is the best feature of a windows mobile phone, in my opinion.

You can get a mini SD card for about £80 from

If you look at the G500 against a Nokia Smartphone in the UK it only costs about 15% more. So it seems good value for a PDA come phone come GPS unit.
What do others think? |
