Looks like i-Mate found a bug in the ROM and removed it again from the public server. Hope it will be online again asap. Crying or Very sad

Does anyone happen to know if the i-mate SP5m firmware can also be used on an unlocked Qtek 8300 - which is otherwise technically identical ?

Or perhaps when Qtek will issue its customized 2.x firmware for the Qtek 8300 ?

In how far are these two firmwares different (I'd assume only in some application softwares) ?

Qtek does not release, it says "go to the vendor you purchased from". If you try to register your Qtek on Qtek website, it will most probably reject your IMEI.

And YES, i-mate ROM CAN be used on Qtek, I have i-mate ROM flashed on my Qtek and now I'm going to flash this newest one too.
All you have to do to make the i-mate ROM updater work on Qtek is to open .nbf file with simple editor and clear one entry, I will update this post with details this evening.
