While Qtek is owned by HTC, Dopod is owned by chairwomen of HTC, so no wonder that it could be that Asia (Taiwan, where HTC is headquarted) is the first place where HTC Star Trek goes on sale - as Dopod S300:

either online retailers in USA and Europe will import it to sell more expensively (like it was with HTC Prophet or Xda Atom) or one needs to order it from overseas and be prepared to pay customs fee, etc.
just look around at various online retailers, that import new phones... |

| How difficult do you think this will be to find around asia? I know it is available in Taiwan, but I'm wondering if the shopping complexes in places like HK and Bangkok will have it available in the coming weeks. |

not difficult - there are online retailers in Asia that specialize in such sales overseas... but I would rather not mention any names here. |
