"Hollywood" is expected to be Palm's "low-cost" smartphone -- under $300 -- but was until this point assumed to be Palm OS. Surprise, surprise, it's Windows Mobile!

Lowrider is low cost. Hollywood is UMTS, and decidedly not cheap.

Agree with surur, UMTS devices are never cheap!

Also msmobiles_robot, how can you say Symbian have lost out in Europe and Asia? Symbian smartphones outsell M$ by many millions!

BH is reporting "Hollywood" doesn't exist. The leaked photos are just a re-designed Treo 700w for GSM carriers.
