This guy sounds lame, not very techy or pro, couple of examples:
You can set your treo to disable its touch screen while in a call - automatically, now how can he not know that? that is one of the basics in the user manual, ohh i see, he is so smart that he does not need a manual.
Having the treo reset and freeze every time? i didnt see that. but i did see lots of goons installing weird games and crappy apps that slow down the device, care to mension that?
now how about the other os's? did he try the very smart nokias? the latest ones with symbiam which try to mimic windows, are not very stable, and have many flaws. all of those smart os's need a reset once in a while, and yes, in test team we see those "others" need more reset than the windows mobile.
who the hell is this guy, and why isnt he moving to the hot dog market? |

He is definately right on the money with a couple of his gripes.
His system performance is due to the lack of memory which in today's devices is a disgrace. Palm should be ashamed of themselves for only giving the Treo 32mb of RAM. As for removing tha battery, I too would be pissed off if I had to remove the battery to do soft reset. Sure, you can use a software program that soft resets the device, but sometimes a WM device does lock up and you need to do a button press soft reset. _________________ JNGold

@sagivh
I have used a Treo 650 (GSM), XDA Exec (WM5) and Nokia 9500 (Symbian). The Nokia needs a reset about twice a year unlike the WM5 device where I had to reset it every 2/3 days as it runs low on RAM (and I only installed WM5 compatible apps, a minimum number). I have stopped using my Exec as it has poor call quality and delays in 'waking-up' on on-coming calls. Also the BT signal is very weak, unlike my Nokia. _________________ Jah |
