The Pocket PC phone with 4GB internal memory (not counting memory on external memory cards) equipped with support for UMTS and HSDPA (!) will apparently be released earlier than expected:

HSDPA sounds great - but not sure what the coverage will be in the UK for the end of this year. Wonder what impact HSDPA will have on batteries (UMTS really kills my Universal). _________________ Jah |

There is no real use for HSDPA yet, as the coverage around Europe is low or none excisting. 3G/UMTS is the only way to go for now. _________________ Alexander Dreyer Johnsen

Is there any truth to what lutzh posted earlier. It does seem odd to put the device out there with a retailer like Expansys and then to pull it away. It is too bad as I was very interested in this unit.

in Germany HSDPA coverage is very good - both from T-Mobile Germany and from Vodafone Germany - so it is not true that whole Europe is HSDPA-less... |
