Not i-mate, but Dopod (after Qtek one of 2 brands owned by HTC itself) is the first to launch officially the HTC Star Trek under the name "Dopod S300".

We have year 2006 and UMTS and built-in Wi-Fi are standard, but this phone doesn't have them.

Yeah, its a phone with 2004 technology being sold in 2006 when companies like Nokia have phones with wi-fi, 3mp cameras, UMTS blah blah blah.

This is just a "fashion phone" I can't see any of the Big 4 (Voda, O2, T-Mobile, Orange) picking this up.
