... says one of top managers from Motorola. No, it's impossible, it sounds more like a wishful thinking and day dreaming, rather than a realistic prognosis!

| it definitely NOT going to replace my Samsung i730 with WM5.0; I have 0% interests in the Moto Q! Why? Cus i dont need f@#$!@* qwerty keyboard, i rather they use that space for a bigger (VGA) screen. |

why would you want to downgrade to wm smartphone anyways? maybe as a "going out phone" but otherwise just a cool looking device with some neat design features.

Read this quote properly and you will see it is over a 9 month period
Motorola estimates 750,000 sales of the Q in the first 90 days, 1.5 million in the succeeding 90 days and 3 million the three months after that.
|

I believe this will be a popular device, but they saying that they believe this will follow the same sales curve as the Razr, which I don't think the Q will even come close to. The Razr is a device targeted at everyone, vs the Q which is a bit more business focused.
It will be interesting to see how well it really does. |

it should be popular...i've been amazed over the past year how much these phones have taken off...i went (just graduated) to university of miami and QUITE a few students now either carry 6700's, treos or sidekicks...i feel like everyone who can afford it wants a keyboard on their phone now...so i expect this device to be quite popular if it works well and is marketed right.
however, i am still disappointed it doesn't have full wm 5.0 because i really don't want a smartphone.

If you had a choice of a touch screen Treo 700w with full WM5 on EVDO why would you buy a Moto Q? _________________ Jah |
