so...considering it has a 312 mhz scale processor (same as the treo 700w and slower than my htc apache)...i wonder if it's going to summer from the same EVDO performance bottleneck that the treo suffers from - it's pretty clear that EVDO on the treo 700w is slower than it's 6700 counterpart on verizon. here we have a smartphone with the same processor; i wonder how the EVDO benchmarks will look and if no wifi really will be a terrible thing.

and for the record, skype does not work well over EVDO...the speeds are there but they are not stable enough and come in bursts, so the phone call is quite unstable (tested on my htc apache which obviously has a faster, 416 mhz processor...which i had overclocked to 624 mhz with PHM to make sure this was a network issue or skype issue and not a processor issue).

and yes i know you can buy a mini-sd wifi chip but you will probably want to have your storage card in there because skype is 5 megs and no one wants that much crap on their internal memory! quite a problem.

well, I have been called from people from Skype running in Samsung on EVDO - so it indeed CAN run well on EVDO...
