Analog TV in most countries has much smaller offering of channels than digital: for example in UK on freeview (digital TV in DVB-T standard) one can get BBC3 and BBC4 also, but on analog broadcasting only 5 channels...

Good heavens ! Is this seriously meant to be more than just a technical showcase ?
I am not going to buy myself a Pocket PC as a tiny device which is *really* portable (in terms of functionality no Pocket PC can beat my notebook PC, but this is not really portable...) and afterwards buy large external add-ons (with cabling !) like the one described here.
It's always interesting to see what is feasible with these tiny devices but the practical advantage of some of the applications is more than questionable. |

Honestly I don't care about these analogue or DVB tuners. You will always have less channels available than when using streaming technology. Since I have a 40€ Flatrate here in Switzerland I can stream all my 200 digital-tv channels using Windows Media Encooder from my PC  |
