Really nice photo review Lutz!

Is it possible to see the photos taken by the TyTN in full size (2 Mpix)?

Also, it would be great if you are able to take some photos in a dark place to see how well the LED camera light works. E.g., if you take a picture of a person in a dark room, how far away can that person stand before the LED doesn't light up enough to see the person well anymore?

wow that is beautiful. please tell me it's gonna be available in the USA real soon i will switch from my apache immediately!!

can you tell me about the keyboard light? i love how they have the light sensor...the apache keyboard light does not come on until you press something...and you can't see what you're pressing in the dark...but what i want to know is the LED behind the keyboard - on my apache it is a white LED and i can see all the red and white keys fine...but on newer apache models the LED is blue and you can't see the red keys in the dark...is everything illuminated fine in the dark??

thanks,

-jeff

Great review -- thanks!

I have gathered that the wheel is a jog wheel, not a "real wheel" (in other words, not a wheel that keeps going around and is clickable, like on the blackberry).

So, still no device on the market with a real wheel.

Therefore, a question: does anyone know whether this is because a real wheel is just not supported by Windows Mobile? Or is it because the hardware manufacturers just choose not to build one?

Surely Windows Mobile could be modified by the manufacturers to support a real wheel?

Hey Lutz (or anyone else), another question: what is that weather service you have that shows on the home screen? That looks cool (well, okay it looks quite warm on the days you're showing Smile

Lutz,

I am currently reviewing the TyTN for www.pocketinfo.nl, so if you want, we can set up a (short) video call from TyTN to TyTN Smile Send me a PM if you are interested.

(I am in the Netherlands)

Cheers

Willem Ditters

Thanks Lutz. Unfortunately I couldn't get that to install on my WM 5.0 device, and in fact the software documentation says it is for WM 2002 and WM 2003 but it doesn't mention WM 5.0.

works perfectly in the latest version even if it says nothing about wm5.

oh and by the way: the TyTN wheel is a real wheel that turns and turns as much as you want. Only the MTeoR jog dial can't turn, as you may have seen on the pictures!

cheers, lutz
