I'm surprised that you haven't posted news of the review of the Vodafone v1605 over at 4winmobile.com.
The modaco review is very much a work in progress whereas the 4wnimobile review is obviously based on actual useage.
Plus the 4winmobile review has been out for ten days now.
The Qtek v1605, as Voda calls it, has been available to buy via telephone according to posters on both 4winmobile and XDA-devs since mid July. Must admit I am surprised you didn't pick it up.
One thing you might want to ask is why it was available to buy online last night but is no longer on their website. |

Exactly! I am a bit confused about this vodafone phone - how come it is not on vodafone UK website?
Orange is at least very commited to Windows Mobile but with regard to Vodafone I have some doubts yet (until they will launch Palm Treo for Windows Mobile). |

I see what you mean, Orange have continually application locked all their devices and remove MSN Messenger, whilst Voda have neither SIM lock or application lock, released the v1605 some three weeks before anyone else and have included the intellidialer which Orange doesn't have and now have four windows mobile devices available to buy.
Sorry, for the sarcasm but the provision of the Windows Treo shows nothing. SPs should surely be judged on their time to launch and ROM upgrades surely as this provides new functionality.
I return to the original question, why not include the v1605 review previously mentioned in your news releases? The review shows the Hermes is a far better and professional light than any review you have referenced so far. |

What's new about this? just looks like a few components were switched.
If it had 4+mp camera (and a good one) and VGA screen then we'd have something new.
Seems HTC just aren't very passionate about the product. |

they are but they must compromise some things sometimes, so that's why not everything you want you get at once ... |

I know it's annoying when a manufacturer leaves out a key component that you've been hoping for, but bear in mind that including everything results in a cost-prohibitive device. It also increases the size, weight, and battery requirements...
I'd personally like to see GPS in the Hermes, but I'll definitely pick this bad-boy up as soon as it hits Cingular stateside... |
