There are no virus programs for Windows Mobile but it is not standing in the way of companies and developers, who offer anti-virus solutions already...

Wow, I use Spybot as a main anti-apyware on my PC and now it's available for Smartphone and PPC too - I'll try it. At least it's good to know it's available, better be ready than sorry.
I wonder how long will it take until more viruses and spyware for smartphones appear, spyware could silently upload our contact lists while other programs could silently connect to network using expensive phone number - you take out your phone out of your pocket just to notice you're connected for and hour... GPRS p-rn access dialers for smartphones. |

Well, since not even one virus for Windows Mobile was spotted in the wild, I don't believe it is needed... but good to hear that Spybot is also used in regular PCs... |

Maybe the argument is that if someone sends you an e-mail with a virus attached, it's good to have that cleared because there's a chance that you may read/forward the e-mail to a PC that then doesn't have anti-virus software.
Just a non-cynical, positive and supportive thought. |
