I called up T-mobile. Yesterday 21st and today 22nd AUG 06. And they said that they are currently out of stock.

It's bloody annoying when they make a big fuss about the MDA Vario II but then you can't even order it yet.

LoL clublander

Web n Walk has been around since last summer and is now flat rate, it can be bundled or bought as part of Flext, Relax, U-Fix or PAYG

Ive used the Vario II and it's really fast, T-Mobile are currently the only network that can boast a working handset on HSDPA. It's really great over Wi-Fi too.

Their Web n Walk card is also HSDPA and it's blazingly fast Rolling Eyes

as you can see here:
http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/Dispatcher?menuid=plans_webnwalk
... this is NOT a true flat rate because it is limited to 2GB:

T-Mobile defines fair use as total UK data use (both sent and received) of up to 2GB per month. T-Mobile may contact customers who exceed this volume of data in two (or more) consecutive months in any six month period to ask them to reduce their usage.

Yes but 2Gb is a lot of data to consume on a mobile each month, it may as well be unlimited.

And IT IS FLAT RATE as it costs the same amount each month no matter how much you use it Smile

no, it is not TRUE flat rate, because sometimes when I am travelling I use more than 5GB a month with my UMTS card... and since it is LIMITED - after 2GB service stops working ... so it really is NOT a TRUE flat rate.

No. it doesn't stop working. Its a fair use policy, you can go under, you can go over. if you go over and over, they MAY tell you to stop.

and as has been said above, its still flat rate! You pay £7.50 you get data. There is no "over 2gig you must pay...". Its flat rate.

2gb? haha you've got to be joking me! i can use 2gb on my apache in a week easily. even more. streaming tv, audio, video etc. takes a lot of bandwidth and i do it constantly.

2gb is pathetic. don't even try to use it as an argument to bash msmobiles because flat rate means unlimited. if i moved to europe and used t-mobile's network i think they would kick me off or charge me a huge price after 2 months of 10gb data.

unlimited means unlimited.

if you go over 2GB they slow down your connection so much that you can't use it.

This web'n'walk IS NOT A FLAT RATE and 2GB is nothing for people who use mobile Internet regularly - it can be easily used up in 1 week and after 1 week the service is slowing down so much that it is unusable and they CAN switch you off.

So stop being childish and claiming that it is FLAT RATE because it is not. In UK only PayG/1 pound a day is a true FLAT RATE and Orange's "Panther" tariffs. Everything else in UK is NOT a FLAT RATE.

Yes unlimited means unlimited. Flatrate does NOT mean unlimited... its means FLAT RATE.

Are you really that stupid you don't understand what flat rate means?

ARE YOU SO XXXXXX STUPID OR ARE YOU TAKING THE PISS?

FLAT RATE. A RATE WHICH DOESNT CHANGE.

ITS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW MUCH DATA YOU GET YOU <offensive language removed>!

FLAT RATE. FLAT RATE. GET IT INTO YOUR HEAD. A RATE WHICH IS FLAT. A RATE WHICH DOESNT CHANGE.

IT IS £7.50 HOWEVER MUCH YOU USE IT. IF THEY SLOW YOUR CONNECTION (which they have never done to anyone as far as I'm aware - though it is in the terms), ITS STILL A FLAT RATE BECAUSE YOU'RE STILL PAYING £7.50 A MONTH!

I agree but T-Mobile uses "unlimited" in description:

With web 'n' walk you get unlimited internet browsing

... what however is a lie, because it is limited to 2GB. Do you understand now?

I understand your last post yes. But you've completely changed the point you were making.

There is a difference between flat rate and unlimited. You claim tmobile isn't flatrate, when it is. It is not unlimited.
