Samsung is working with Nokia on development of Symbian Series 60 smartphones to be produced by Samsung, but this cooperation must be very inefficient because instead of launching Symbian Series 60 phones, Samsung ...

well, boy, you are really pathetic
samsung is well known for releasing tons of handsets that actually never reach the market
just to let you know, the president of HTC, peter cChou just anounced that HTC is eying on symbian. the reason is quite simple .. the WM powered devices are not very successful compared to the symbian ones |

why I am pathetic? I am just reporting the news story - I know very well that several handsets that Samsung was showing on various trade shows, that I visited - never have been released and available commercially! I expect apology!
regarding HTC saying that it may manafacture Symbian phones if some operator would order them, I can say "whatever, these are just words, deeds show something else". Anyway I think that Symbian is too fragmented into competitve with each other platforms and is too inferior, for HTC to consider it - but ONLY if some operator would pay for it. Certainly HTC will never invest its own money into developing Symbian handsets. |

symbian and WM are on par, only biased people like you don't see it. and as a metter of fact, symbian is way more suitable for mobile devices, compared to the WM platform
regarding symbian market beeing too fragmented ? well, the funny thing is, that even the smallest fragment, i.e. the S80 series is selling better then WM devices
btw. the last sentence just made me laugh
anyways, HTC will pour money into any given OS as long as it bring some money. HTC already manufactures devices with different OSs, and since the CEO said officially on event like IFA, that HTC is seriosly eyeing on symbian that means, that they have already developing at least for internal purpose some symbian devices. but, since you never ever was in real business, you don't know
so, you better get some real grip or change the "no brown-nosing", "independent of MS" etc etc since it is not true
you are so much biased and envy that MS are not doint that well, and even linux devices are way more successful then your beloved MS platform |
