Agreed. Thanks for the review. It will be interesting to see if Palm can break into the European market with this one. _________________ good titles are misleading!

@hofo_mofo
i don't use sms so much, since texting with instant messaging is just alot quicker & cheaper (if you are on a data tarif). but i will send my self (!) some text messages tonight to check it out, ok?
cheers, lutz |

Great pictures.
I will be interested to see if you have found whether over the next few days you get:-
- missed calls
- soft resets
- poor radio reception |

People were calling me and 750v didn't ring or register a missed call, and phone showed reception.
Also, compared to another 3g device, Nokia E61 the signal was much stronger by 2 bars than the 750v.
Phone freezing. This is a UK 750v. |

That's not good to hear, but this is the first I have heard so far of issues like this happening. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a widespread problem.
Can anyone comment on the phone and speakerphone volume? On my JAM the volume of the phone is the absolute xxx I have ever heard. The speakerphone is useless. I want something that is loud enough to hear in noisy situations. |

Several of my friends bought the 750v, of which a one was a pda expert. He was so frustrated he took it back a few days later.
I also hope this is a blip. I have a Fujitsu Siemens on its way for myself, but I did intend to buy the Palm 750 once unbranded from Vodafone. |

Hi guys, got my Treo 750v today - for me it was like a christmas+birthday together multiplied by 10x
After having the original Palm Treo 650 and quite all of Windows Mobile devices including Smartphones (Qtek 8310, Samsung sgh-i320) and Phone Editions (HTC TYTN) - I must say - bravo Palm, you made me happy!!!
+ It's absolute sexy from the optical point of view
+ The surface area and the materials I haven't seen better solution yet
+ Although there's 100Mhz slower CPU inside than in the HTC TYTN, I feel it's much faster!
+ The Palm enhancements are very very very sexy, they really managed it to provide a Pocket PC with high level OS with more space for playing and using than the Smartphone platform, but with the use and simpleness of WM5 Smartphone !
- The screen is -well- depenends on everyone's opinion, there's a big difference compared with 320x240, but for me it's still the better choice considering all other benefits
I forgot to work today and going to play with it now the whole day, I'm wondering whether most of the popular apps will be ok with the screen.
smiling regards by the Bohemian guy from Munich |
