The T-Mobile Dash will be available exclusively to T-Mobile customers beginning Oct. 25 at T-Mobile retail stores and online.

is the single reason why this opinion:

appears to be so uninformed. T-Mobile (US) has less than half the customers of the number three provider (operator) Sprint. Your opinion might have had a little more traction if the Dash was being sold by Cingular.

Isn't HP IPAQ hw6915 a better choice, since it's a PocketPC, not a Smartphone? All other specs seem identical.

I own I-MATE SP5, so the only feature I'm missing is qwerty thumb board, thinking about buying this hw6915

Did you ever consider that maybe not everyone prefers the PPC Phone edition over the Smartphone version?

A comparison of Sales of Model-A (Q) VS Sales of Model-B (Dash) is the only legitimate method to draw conclusions.

Really?? Personally I DON'T CARE what other people buy.
I'm looking for a device for myself.

I think this Dash should have a PPC Mobile Phone edition windows, not smartphone.
Yeah, hw6915 is "only" WiFi b, but 11Mbit is still good enough for me.

Well, you are speaking to someone that has a PPC since 2000 when I purchased my first Casio EM500. However, your simplistic view of what OS is "better" is just that. I personally agree with you about your assessment, however, there is a tremendous market and consumer base that does need nor want the PPC Phone edition interface.
