Where Microsoft is finding such incompetent employees? It is
incredible but true! While the Windows Live Messenger for Windows
Mobile still is not available (apart from illegal Beta versions stored
on illegal web...

First of all, don't panic. It's not the best implementation of MSN Messenger on the Symbian platform and I expect the WM version will (when it's working) have lots more features.
Second.... Haha! |

even the illegal published version of windows live mobile doesn't work anymore. the beta pages of microsoft show a message saying that - quote:
09.15.06: Updated Refresh News!
The Mobile 10.7 Program is still down. Currently we are dogfooding the bits before we can release them to you testers. The Refresh has been pushed back until late next week. We will announce when the bits are available, thanks for being patient.
if i check my calendar i see 10.26.06 - over a mont later still no news and nothing. and if you face the fact that the palm treo 750v comes completely without the msn messenger (thank you vodafone or palm or who ever is to blame) and the stuff you can download from mobile.msn.com is not working correctly on its 240x240 screen - i can only strongly advice people to use agile messenger instead. if you download the
Agile Messenger 3 BETA for Windows Mobile 5.0 PPC & Windows PPC 2003
from here: http://www.agilemobile.com/downloads.html it is free, works perfect on 240x240 screen or other windows mobile pocket pc and has some nice features like other im (aol, icq, google), keeping message history, smileys, directly sending of images etc. ...
i just don't get it - i have no idea, why micrsoft has blocked out users from using the latest beta of windows live mobile messenger as well as i don't understand why they don't update the connect-pages with useful informations regarding the next release.
see this and think about it: http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/archive/2006/08/29/730383.aspx

Do you really think this has any influence on Windows Mobile device sales? It's just a good thing if Symbian users start using Windows Messenger.

yeah! having built-in MSN Messenger was for a long time a strong argument to buy Windows Mobile phones - similarly like having push email in MS technology with exchange - now both these things also nokia has, so clearly it is reducing sales of Windows Mobile phones. |

Well, I shall look forward to WLM for Symbian then when I get a Nokia N95 next year.
You know the maxim "if you can't beat em, join em"
Soon it won't be "Symbian can't do that" but "Symbian can do that and before WM can" LOL. |

Well, if MSN Messenger has been the only reason to buy Windows Mobile phones then the phones can't be very good. So in the future HTC sales won't increase 300% as they have done in this year? Nokia has sold 76% of all smartphones. What's their "MSN Messenger" that made this all possible?
