Is it one-off? We don't know, but clearly it would be wise for Nokia to manufacture also Windows Mobile phones - after all this is what (at least some) customers want...

More crap on this web site,
I have a Nokia e61 with Route 66. It works extremely well. Also the E61 not only comes with voip support on the phone rom but also some basic gps software. My e61 chugs along running route 61 or Navicom very well and unlike most windows mobiles phones with such software running does not crash or drain the battery in an hour.
This symbian bashing with nothing more than I hate symbian without any real reasoning makes you look foolish. You do nothing more than trying to point out what windows mobile can do that sybain can't when the reality is nokia phones have wifi, have or support voip have server configuration software, support all forms of push email. The reality you completely ignore however is how poor windows mobile is in regard to reliabilty and battery life. These are the real concerns for business smartphone users and are issues blackberry and nokia etc are trying to improve. |

What would they win with co-operation? A company with over 80% market share does not have to co-operate.
This is what Mr. Kari Tuutti from Nokia says about using CE in 330:
"This is a "not connected" device so the operating system is not so important. Certainly this does not indicate any changes in Nokia's commitment to Symbian as the operating system of mobile phones"
