| That gives you the ability to edit office docs, and gives you a very useful touchscreen. |

don't worry guys! 501 - also known as i-mate JAQ3 (to be sold soon from i-mate) will be tested next week in details , including TomTom and Skype and other things. If you have suggestions what else should be tested - let me know.
it's a bit bigger than average Pocket PC phone but it is very thin (the thinnest in the world) and it has QWERTY keyboard for single handed usage and 802.11g Wi-Fi and IS VERY CHEAP so it may be interesting for some people. |

Please make sure you test the transfer speed, I personally called up expansys and ask if EDGE is supported. But the answer is NO. However, I see you have EDGE listed on the spec of 501.
It would be nice to see some size comparison between the 501 and T-mobile Dash, as they look similar (of cuz the OS is different) |

this phone 100% for sure has no EDGE.
While for some people it is important for other people who don't have flat rate mobile Internet and data transmission is very expensive - and who prefer Wi-Fi - it doesn't matter. |

Too many sites just compare hardware specs, take a few photos of the device, take a few photos with the device and then proclaim the winner.
The Treo has lots of customisations which make it a good phone. So what if it doesn't have wifi? it's core phone and messaging features are better than almost all Windows Mobile devices.

Can't believe you are the editor and write something like this.
One really can't say that msmobiles is quality journalism. You just pour out your personal bitterness. If someone wants to read something objective he won't find it here.
