If you would dig deep enough you would find version of it for Windows Mobile 2003 but it is pointless because Windows Mobile 5.0 is current version of OS and if you have Windows Mobile 2003 then throw it out of the window and purchase Windows Mobile 5.0 device! |

I don't see any sensation here. One simple Java midlet happens to work in Windows Mobiles. If this is a sensation then WM is really a miserable piece of junk. I assume the midlet works in all Symbian phones as well as their Java implementation light years ahead of WM. And it probably works almost all mobile phones on the planet.

Well, well. So you now admit that only a little more than year ago you were praising phones, which should have been thrown out of the window

Usual lifespan of mobile phones is 6 months to 1 year so naturally Windows Mobile 2003 are outdated. |

failed? impossible! many people succesfully downloaded it - the only reason that you failed is that you didn't want to bother with user registration! that you are lazy!
remember you can go to http://www.bugmenot.com/ and search for IBM and get user registration details .
Alternatively if you logged in remember to select "HTTP download" before downloading - this may help too.
There are no other sources to download so you must use IBM's website. If you still have problems just post here exactly what kind of problems these are!!! At which phase? What does it say? etc... |

Windows Mobile phones can run J2ME applications (after having to manually install the JVM) that just about every other phone on this planet can run without having to install anything. Hence "Windows Mobile phones are the best mobiles in the world".
I've just discovered this site but i have to say that I already love it. It went straight to my daily reading list folder. |

have you connected to internet, for example with internet explorer in your windows mobile device, for example to http://mobile.msmobiles.com ?
you must ensure first that connection to internet is working wih other application and only then try to connect from the Gmail midlet! |

Im not that dumb - if i say there is a connection, there really is a connection established! Googlemaps applet for example works! |
