Handango = crap!!

I have a paid version of 1.5 and should be able to get the upgrade pricing from MS. Handango wants to be greedy though and is only offering it to people who purchased it from them.

Handango wont be the only place to get the software forever and as a result of this action I will surely purchase it from someone else, as well as never purchase ANYTHING from them again.

They suck!

Nope - looks like Physboy is subject to the same sorts of off-topic, Handango tirades the sponsor of this site is. Laughing

When you consider the fact that the "long-awaited update to MS Voice Command" is currently only available from Handango, it should be clear that my statement is not sooooo off-topic since it deals directly with a facet of the "long-awaited update to MS Voice Command". (Specifically, where one can purchase it.)

If anyone has a solution to getting the upgrade pricing for MS Voice Command 1.6, even though I did not purchase the 1.5 from CRAPY Handango, I would love to hear about it.

Not that Handango is without sin in general, but they owe you nothing but access to software. Be a big boy and make a decision and suck it up. You didn't buy your MSVC version from Handango and MS will not sell this direct to consumers. It's a very common and reasonable business practice used in all markets.

Otherwise, I'm sure you have our collective sympathy since $40.00 will put you back onto the streets. Wink

Lack of imagination and something to actually contribute to the conversation that is on-topic. Talk about "irrelevant rant", it's like you can't say a word with out contradicting yourself.

Completely irrelevant and off-topic, I am not talking about Handango "in general". I am speaking specificaly about how they are offering the latest release of MS VC 1.6. Again, you offer contradictory off-topic bable.

Completely off-topic and also inaccurate. In actuallity they do not owe me anything unless I pay for something. On the same token I also owe them nothing. Talk about contradictory irrelevance. Razz

Lame attempt at an insult, and not surprisingly...irrelavant.

Listen up Bucci and you might learn something about how the free market works and how even you Bucci can bennefit from it:

The fact of the matter (and more on-topic) is that Handango is a retailer on the free market attempting to gain customers who will purchase their goods. Isolating market share has never been a productive way to increase customer base. What they have done is hi-jacked a discount that the manufacturer offers (MS allways offers an upgrade discount for being a loyal MS customer) in an attempt to punish those who have not purchased the previous version of the software from Handango (while maybe common it is anything but a reasonable business practice in a free market). It is a foolhearty move as Handango will not be the only who can sell MS VC 1.6 forever. It will be available, just like the previous version 1.5, from everywhere, (CompUSA, PocketGear, etc....). When that happens soon enough, I will then give Handango the equivilant of "f*ck me?.....F*CK YOU!" by purchasing my, discounted, upgrade version of MS VC 1.6 from somewhere else! Laughing

Another lame attempt at an insult by trying to minimize the situation. It's not about $40.00 Bucci Razz , my point is about Handango's practice in dealing with potential customers of the new MS Voice Command 1.6. As clearly shown above, it's foolhearty and I intend in partaking of showing them that, as stated above.

I recommend that people who have purchased the previous version of MS Voice Command from other than Handango, do the same. In this way people can reap the bennefits of being a loyal MS Voice Command customer without that bennefit being hijacked by some poorly structured market strategy.

Which is off topic. Try Brighthand instead.

One day you'll understand that you're not exempt from the dynamics of fundamental world-wide market principles, nor should you be. Suck it up, kid. You'll have completed puberty by then, but it gives you something to look forward to for the next few years. Wink

It's just you, given your void of anything on-topic to add. Got a problem? Take it off-line where it belongs.

But you won't go offline bucci, so my problem stays here.
At least until you cut and run as usual.

----------------------------------------------------

Why do i think some people are posting replies to themselves ?
Perhaps ' some people ' have trippped up somewhere along the line.

Perhaps ' some people ' are not as cleaver as they think they are !

Anyway, you now have my permission to return to topic...........

The public forums are not the place for vendettas. Got a problem? Use other methods available to you, unless the public exposure is your self-absorbed goal?

The public forums are also not the place for your continuing juvenile and precocious remarks to every member on here.

I would suggest it is you with a personal vendetta/problem that would be best treated off line, preferably at a psychiatric hospital !

As for the thread topic......well as usual you managed to turn it into a slanging match of personal and totally irrelevant comments purely for the purpose of enflaming, well done.

I belive the term used in your neck of the woods is ' One-Trick Pony ' !
