I feel sorry for those who rushed out and bought the X500 though
This is the phone I have been waiting for, GPS, Wifi and Keyboard.
3G would be good however I am not on a contract. |

Also, the size of it is very impressive.
MIO A701 (currently the lighest, smallest GPS phone AFAIK)
Weight:148g
Dimensions: 107mm x 57mm x 18.8mm
M700
Weight: 165g
Dimensions 117.5mm x 59mm x 19.8mm
Massive improvement given the Eten has a sliding keyboard and Wifi. |

So the size of this M700 is very impressive is it? It is 8.5mm less in height, 5mm less in width and 1.2mm less in depth than an FS Loox T830. I find it laughable that people say the T830 is a "brick" yet the M700 has a very impressive size? We are talking about mm here not cm. 9mm is about the length of the nail on the smallest finger on my hand. Let's put this size debate into some proper perspective. |

Every mm counts when you're talking about devices like these. _________________ good titles are misleading!

It is when it is barely larger than an existing handset which doesn't slide open, doesn't have wifi or keyboard.
Sure, the T830 isn't much larger, but it doesn't slide, to the thickness is for no reason at all. People don't mind a bit of bulk if the phone slides open. T830 also only has a 240x240 screen (only a slight improvement over old Palms). |

Dare I ask which carrier (if any) in the US this Fish will be glowing at? or do I buy it straight from the manuf. or its authorized outlet as an unlocked device. Not having 3G (perhaps 3G will glow in M800 ) in M700 is OK for folks who are not looking for screaming internet speeds and can not afford expensive unlimited data plans. my 2 cents. |
