Interestingly there are separate downloads for Java (J2ME, i.e. MIDP = JAD and JAR files) phone and for Windows Mobile phone (CAB file)!
This application has not been development by Microsoft's Windows Mobile ...

I have a Cingular 8125 and cannot get Windows Live Search to work unless it is connected to my computer via USB.
I have full data access and can get mail, surf the net via I.E., but Win Live Search constatnly comes up with data access errors unless I have my USB cable connected and data is received via my local "hard line" (Matrix anyone?)..
Anyone else have these issues?? |

Tried the J2ME version on my E61 and it kind of works. The first time i tried to look for something, it just said loading forever and didn't even ask for the access point. Then i tasked back to the stanby screen and suddently the access point dialog poped up. After that, it worked fine. Very sluggish though although most Java apps are anyway. This does render the map pretty much unusable even with a wifi connection as it's so sluggish that whenever you try to scroll, it jumps way past the point where you wanted to scroll. Google Maps, despite being also a J2ME works a lot better for mapping.
I hope that it works better on Windows Mobile phone. For now, i'll just stick to Nokia Local Search which does the same thing but in turbo speed. |

| Works perfectly on my TyTN, too. Love the fact that I can use my GPS with it to plot directons and track my progress. |

Anyone know how to Zoom Out from the keypad?
On a Smartphone, zoom should be linked to the scroll wheel instead of redundant vertical scrolling. |

| Finally got it working last night and I'm impressed. It's a very good application. However, I can't close it even trying to force it closed in task manager. |
