Shame about lack of 3G. There's no compact 3G Windows phone with a qwerty keyboard and so it would have been unique.

there is: Samsung i607 BlackJack - in USA.

at the beginning of 2007 coming too: Samsung i600 to Europe and Asia and HTC Cavalier everywhere!

HTC still is not planning a Pocket PC phone with QWERTY keyboard for single handed usage! While HTC Herald and HTC Hermes are fine devices, they have keyboards usable only with 2 hands and success of BlackBerrry devices has proven that single-handed QWERTY keyboard is a must! While HTC Excalibur features QWERTY keyboard for single handed usage, it is powered by MS Smartphone ( Windows Mobile smartphone edition) what means that it has no touch screen and thus can't compete with Palm Treo and other smartphones.

At one point you talk about the success of the blackberry yet how many blackberry's do you know that have touch screens.

You are so obsessed with having a touch screen yet it's not even necessary.

but blackberry-s have genuine wheel that makes up for the lack of touch screen.

in my opinion a phone should have either touch screen or genuine wheel (or both).

yes, touch screen is not necessary but without a wheel and without touch screen navigating is very difficult... and finally: some people got used to touch screen and cant go back to touchscreen-less device...

The link to the forum on CE4arabic.com is asking us to create a login (in arabic) I think. I can't view the info on i-Mate devices. Can someone post info? Very Happy

Also is there anymore to HTC's roadmap slides than info on Vox?
