There will be no official ROM upgrade with Windows Mobile Crossbow for HTC Hermes but somebody (probably Microsoft or HTC or Orange UK or some other mobile operator) is using this phone for testing of this new major...

Last time, the lucky ones were HTC himalaya and blue angel. This time, we have already seen HTC universal and HTC hermes running WM5.5(or WM5.2)(whatever you say  )

yes, but these 2 things are not certain, my estimation:
--- official ROM upgrade with Crossbow for HTC Hermes - chances: 1%.
--- leaked unofficial ROM upgrade wiht Crossbow for HTC Hermes - chances: 50%
anyway once unofficial leaked ROM with Crossbow will appear on Internets of course msmobiles.com will report it - so stay tuned! |

Other supported devices that I've seen is the Typhoon.

| Photos would be nice. Or even better, a video. There are many screenshots floating around on the web. The guy could just be viewing them full screen on his Hermes, then taking pictures of that. |

I have heard that the smartphone crossbow version will give the device abaility to create and edit office files like word and powerpoint and excel data. That would be cool and really help smartphone device sales I would think |

samsung is one of very few windows mobile manufacturers, that were offering upgrade to major new Windows mobile version so it is possible that crossbow will be offered for blackjack but remember: this will be exception to the rule "if you want new OS, buy new mobile". |
