Some fans of Windows Mobile have produced themes that change how Windows Mobile UI looks like and make it look like Apple iPhone! Apparently Apple doesnt like the fact that not only many Windows Mobile phones are su...

It all depends if you can copyright the look of user interface? would you be defending Apple if they had made their iPhone look like Windows?
Of course, this is users making themes and if they're not being done for profit then why go after them?
Even Wozniak thinks Apple should stop suing users who leaked OSX betas etc. |

Since there's really not that much horsepower behind the iPhone, Apple needs to spend their legal fees protecting its aesthetics. Tells me everything I need to know about the phone _________________ good titles are misleading!

"Apparently Apple doesn't like the fact that not only many Windows Mobile phones are superior to Apple iPhone but also that with simple theme each Windows Mobile phone can look exactly like iPhone - without the need to purchase Apple iPhone itself!"
Well, if there's so much "superior" hardware out there, why would anyone want to copy anything "inferior?" Ain't that a little stupid?
Sounds more (the statement) like fear and arrogance than anything else.
Oh, one more thing: If no one has used it for more than ten minutes yet, how can anyone judge it?
Just saying...

| Apple records will sue them. Apple have renamed themselves as Apple inc. losing the computer name. it was a condition of a court settlement that they would stick to computers. |

Read the specs again. Then comeback and tell me if MS and the multitudes of OEM's have offered a "touch screen" like the one found on the iPhone. _________________ JNGold

There are worse ones and better ones out there. I prefer the active digitizer types - much less error prone. The new one from Synaptics seems pretty darned nice in camparison to what Jobs demoed this last week (Video link, Product Link). _________________ good titles are misleading!

Wow, you missed the keyword here: MULTItouch, past and current technology only does SINGLEtouch!!
MULTItouch allows you, amongst other thing, to pinch your fingers, or move them apart to respectively zoom out and zoom in an image for example. And there are other ways to use that too.
But WAIT until somebody test an actual unit or until you get one at the shop... |

OMG! Zooming on a handheld? That's not possible is it?
Super - Apple took something simple and one-handed on most PDA phones and made it two-handed and awkward. Very impressive. _________________ good titles are misleading!
