no, but you can connect to internet and make phone calls and receive phone calls with VoIP software like Skype
I was getting phone calls - several! - from people on CDMA EVDO and it works fine |

True. I have used Skype on my Air Card-equipped laptop and had my office phone forwarded to it with great success. Still, I usually have my cell phone with me since it's so small and convenient.
