Much faster than Windows Live but the interface is still a bit too touch screen orientated. You have to touch the screen to zoom in /out where in Windows Live, you can use the d-pad. I like the speed of GM, especially on an Edge network which I am on right now. When I get back to a HSDPA area, it will fly!

I can not find the googlemaps.cab file to download the soft.

Is it posible that it is only available for some countries and some other not? I am trying from Spain, and when I visit the web site www.google.com/gmm, I only see a demostration.

Can someone post the .cab file?

Regarding the question about gmail, there is already a version for mobile, that you can access from the web site of google with your WM5 device. And it works, I use it.

A WAP site, but not a downloadable application.

Nope, doesn't work that way on a Treo 750. Pressing the volume keys in the google app, does guess what? Adjust the volume! Rolling Eyes

now this app really does rock on the Fujitsu Siemens Loox T830 with its built in Sirf Star 111 GPS. The track location GPS facility switches on the GPS in the T830 and away you go.
